Company description:: Youth Organization of Generation 2000, a non-profit organization, was established in 1999 to assist at-risk youth, but as needs have presented themselves has expanded into other areas as well. Programs include a youth shelter, mentoring programs, a national crisis line, GED tutorial centers, housing and a work program for mentally and physically challenged individuals, a Christian summer camp, and feeding and clothing the homeless.
Our stated mission is to help individuals understand and reach their God-given potential. We will accomplish this by meeting their felt needs; encouraging them and giving them opportunity to help others; and providing motivation, mentoring, training, education assistance, and job placement. All of these services are intended as expressions of God's love for them, and our ultimate desire is that they will recognize Jesus as their hope and receive Him as their personal savior. |
